Nick Mohammed (born 4 October 1980) is a British comedian, actor and writer.

Early life

Mohammed started his school life at Meanwood Church of England primary school in Leeds LS7.

Mohammed started performing and writing comedy with the Cambridge Footlights while a student there in 2003.

Career

Mohammed has featured in the second series of BBC One’s Reggie Perrin and as a lead in the BBC Three comedy series The King Is Dead alongside Simon Bird and Katy Wix. He recently featured in BBC Two’s Pete & Dud: The Lost Sketches, a celebration of Peter Cook and Dudley Moore’s lost archive and the second series of Miranda, and is to star in character as a guest lead in the season finale of BBC Three’s How Not to Live Your Life

Following on from his hit BBC Radio Four debut (Quarters), Mohammed’s second series Nick Mohammed in Bits aired this autumn, to further critical acclaim.

Mohammed will begin filming a third series of BAFTA-nominated sketch show Sorry, I've Got No Head later this year and supported Angelos Epithemiou (as Mr. Swallow) on his 2010 national tour.

Mohammed is also developing The Making of Mr. Swallow for BBC Television and is writing and starring in an original comedy-drama Magic for Channel 4 as part of the Coming Up Scheme.
